ESS Fire Inspector Mobile application is a comprehensive mobile application that extends the functionality of the ESS Web2 Fire Safety Module to Fire Safety Inspectors working in the field. It provides an automated and paperless workflow, maximizing the productivity of this specialized workforce.

Key features of the application include:

1. Task List per Inspector: Inspectors can view their assigned tasks and inspections, which are posted by management in the Inspection Scheduler within the ESS. This list ensures that inspectors have a clear overview of their workload and can efficiently manage their tasks.
   
   
2. Job Management: Accepted tasks are transferred to the inspector’s job list for completion. Each job/location includes relevant location data and inspection history, enabling inspectors to update information and stay informed about previous activities.
   
   
3. Predefined Inspection Forms/Checklists: The application offers a variety of predefined inspection forms and checklists tailored to different types of inspections, including Fire Safety Compliance, Dangerous Goods on-premises, Fire Risk Assessment Audit, Major Hazardous Installation Audit, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods Permit vehicle inspections. This ensures standardized and thorough inspections.
   
   
4. Attachment of Electronic Documents and Media Files: Inspectors can attach electronic documents and media files to specific inspections or locations. This includes photographs, video recordings, voice recordings/notes, and other relevant files, enhancing the documentation and evidence collection process.
   
   
5. Location Index: The application features a location index that enables ad hoc inspections. Inspectors can quickly access information about specific locations to avoid duplication and improve overall inspection efficiency.
   
   
6. Offline Mode Capability: The application operates in an offline mode, meaning it does not rely on a permanent internet or network connection to the ESS system. Inspectors can continue working and capturing data even without network connectivity. Once a stable network connection is available, the application allows for synchronization, downloading and uploading inspection information to and from the ESS system via GSM-Data or local Wi-Fi network.
   
   
7. Device Compatibility: The application is compatible with any Android mobile device, including smartphones and tablets. However, for optimal ease of use, we recommend utilizing an 8″ or larger tablet.
